Online Shopping

You may now order any item on our website from the comfort of your own home and have it delivered right to your door!

All you need to do is register yourself as a user by entering some basic information and assign yourself a password or alternatively select the goods you wish to purchase and checkout as a guest.  The online shopping process is simple and only requires that you follow the onscreen prompts.

When you’ve placed your order, please check your email for your order confirmation.

Once we have received and processed your order, our Stores department will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time. We will always aim to meet the established Delivery Date but this is dependent on successful authorization of payment and stock availability. In the rare event of a delay, we will contact you by email / telephone before your Delivery Date.

All transactions/orders carried out on this website are concluded in English.

Delivery charges for online shopping are as follows;

  • Maltese Islands:
    • Free for orders over € 25 delivered in Malta and Gozo
    • A € 5 charge applies for orders below € 24.99 in Malta and Gozo
  • Outside of Maltese Islands
    • Prior to check out the website will calculate the delivery costs for deliveries outside of the Maltese islands. These charges are to be paid upon checkout

Orders to be delivered within Malta and Gozo are done by our own in house delivery team. Deliveries to locations outside of the Maltese islands is done by standard parcel post.

Once dispatched, delivery will be made solely to the address specified during the order. Any subsequent redirection requests are chargeable. If you are not available for the delivery, cannot collect the parcel and are not able to pay for a redirection we will contact you to establish another delivery appointment.

The delivery will require a signature from someone at the address specified. This is strictly enforced for security purposes.

Please note that prices are subject to market conditions and therefore may change without notice. Certain products may be withdrawn from sale at any time or may not be continuously in inventory.

Methods of Payment

We currently accept PayPal and any credit or debit card issued by the major issuers. Please note that we will only ship to confirmed addresses on your order. We will ship the goods when the funds reach our account.

Pricing

All prices shown on the website are inclusive of 18% VAT.

Customs, Duties, And Import Fees (for deliveries outside of Maltese Islands)

We will assist you, however, customs procedures vary from country to country and agent to agent. Please check with local officials regarding cost and proper procedures for labelling. We can provide a proforma invoice if needed. HomeTrends are not responsible for customs charges and duties or delays by custom officers, shipping agents, or flight delays once the shipment leaves our warehouse. We will bill for any duties and taxes that are charged back to us after the initial shipment.

Outside of Maltese Islands Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there might be restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. We suggest that you contact us by using our Contact Us form to receive a shipping quote to your destination. For payments, we accept PayPal or any credit or debit card issued by the major issuers.

Items outside of the Maltese islands are sent using regular parcel post. For a more speedy delivery, kindly contact us for courier rates.

Right to Cancellation and Returns

You reserve the right to cancel and return your order within 14 working days for any reason and with no justification. You must inform us in writing by emailing shoponline@hometrends.com.mt with your decision to cancel. We will then provide you with a withdrawal form which you can fill in and return to us.

Goods must be sent back to us within 14 days of informing us of your cancellation. All goods must be returned in their original packaging including all parts, accessories etc. Return shipping costs will not be refunded. Local collection for returns can be carried out at a minimum charge of €15

We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (example: you received an incorrect or defective item).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (15 to 20 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.

Guarantees

Under EU rules all goods have a minimum 2 year manufacturer warranty. If any good are found to be faulty you have the right to ask for a repair, free replacement or a partial or full refund.
The 2 year guarantee starts as soon as you receive your goods, and if a fault is found you must inform us within 15 days, and we will provide a solution to this.

We can also offer you an additional commercial guarantee (a warranty) that can be added at an extra cost. This will give you better protection but does not replace the minimum 2 year guarantee.

Non-Returnable

Damaged Or Missing Goods Shipped By Parcel Carrier

We thoroughly inspect all items prior to shipment. We suggest that you also thoroughly inspect the items before accepting delivery. If damage is apparent, refuse delivery or if your parcel is left without a signature and damage is found, please contact our Customer Service immediately at +356 21445654. Do not discard the box or any packaging materials. Most claims must be filed with the carrier within 10 days of receipt of delivery.

Privacy
We respect your privacy. All personal information you provide us is kept confidential. We do not rent, trade, or sell your personal information. Ever.  All credit card information is not processed by us but by PayPal or Transactium, depending on the checkout method you select and we therefore do not store any credit card information.

Please Note That: Typographical, photographic, pricing, and editing errors in our catalogue, advertising, and website are unintentional and we reserve the right to correct them.
